Smart Feedback and Overrides

What it does

Smart feedback and overrides allow users to flag or correct Smart-generated values directly from log review screens when classifications appear incorrect.

Users can submit corrections, apply updated values, or restore previous values when needed.

Why it matters

Human review improves confidence in Smart classifications and creates a clear human-in-the-loop correction workflow.

Where to find it

Available in:

• Conversation Logs
• Message Logs

How to use it

1. Open a conversation or message in the logs
2. Locate the Smart field you want to review
3. Click Correct
4. Submit the corrected value
5. Verify the updated classification in the log view

If needed, you can also restore a previous value.

Good to know

• Available for accounts with:
  • Smart enabled
  • body-ingestion access enabled
• Supports:
  • applying corrections
  • restoring previous values
• Corrections are performed directly within the logs interface

Smart Fields in Log Exports

What it does

Smart fields in log exports allow teams to export conversation and message logs with Smart-enriched columns included in the exported file.

Why it matters

This preserves Smart context outside the portal for operational reviews, reporting, and downstream analysis.

Available in:

• Conversation Log exports
• Message Log exports

How to use it

1. Open Conversation Logs or Message Logs
2. Apply any required filters
3. Export conversations or messages
4. Review the exported file with included Smart columns

Good to know

• Human-readable Smart columns are automatically included when:
  • Smart access is enabled
  • body-ingestion opt-in is active
• Exports still function normally without Smart access, but Smart columns will be excluded
